Safer Recruitment & Whistleblowing

AYA College is committed to ensuring that all adults working with children are suitable, safe and appropriately vetted.

Our safer recruitment processes include, as appropriate:

  • enhanced DBS checks
  • identity verification
  • right to work checks
  • reference checks
  • qualification checks
  • employment history scrutiny
  • relevant prohibition and disqualification check where required

Safer recruitment is also a continuing process of improvement for the College, clubs, businesses, or organisations whose work or services involve contact with our children.
